Meet Our Staff: The Harts
Chris and Lori Hart are another neat couple here at Ethnos360 Bible Institute who work in the kitchen. They form great friendships with students who have leadership roles or ministry assignments in the kitchen. I love getting to chat with both of them whenever I see them around campus!

Where are you from originally?
Louisville, KY.
When did you join the Ethnos360 Bible Institute team?
March 2016.
What’s your role at Ethnos360 Bible Institute?
Chris: Kitchen Director.
Lori: Assistant Cook.
What is your favorite thing about serving at Ethnos360 Bible Institute?
Chris: I love spending time with the students. It is very rewarding getting to know them and getting involved in each other’s lives. Discipleship is a two-way street, and I learn so much from the students as we dig into the depths of one another’s lives.
Lori: I love getting to know the students. It always amazes me that they could be doing anything with these two years and they choose to spend it here, digging into God’s Word.
What is something the student body might not know about you?
Chris: I am very competitive and love most every sport. But my favorites are baseball and ultimate frisbee.
Lori: I’m pretty big into holistic health and nutrition.
At what point in your life were you convinced to become involved with missions?
Chris: It was after Lori and I watched the documentary Beyond the Gates of Splendor that we knew we had to be involved in missions in some way.
Lori: The Lord challenged me through the documentary Beyond the Gates of Splendor. I remember telling the Lord that I want to love like that, sacrificially, the way He loves.
Where’s your favorite place to eat or thing to do here around Waukesha?
Chris: Mainstream Grill or Tally’s. I love a good burger!
Lori: I love going to coffee downtown. Copilot is probably my favorite.
What pastimes do you enjoy?
Chris: I enjoy paddleboarding, hiking, and spending time outdoors in general.
Lori: While I don’t enjoy being in water, I love being around it, so anything near water.
Do you have a “hero of the faith” that you admire, and if so, what about them is inspiring?
Chris: My heroes of the faith are the five missionaries who died while making contact with the Waorani tribe in Ecuador and their wives that continued the work after they were killed.
Lori: A friend back home in Kentucky, Connie. Even in the midst of many challenges and unknowns she trusts God and has a peace that can only be explained by Him.
Who is your favorite author or musician?
Chris: I am not really sure I have a favorite. I have a very wide range of books and music I listen to. It really depends on my mood.
Lori: I don’t know that I have any favorites, but I love autobiographies. I love to read about the experiences of others. I know I need to grow in compassion for others and it helps to be able to see the world as they do.
Where is your favorite place to spend time?
Chris: Anywhere with water. I love the beach, being on a boat, and paddleboarding, or even being in a pool.
Lori: No contest! Without a doubt, Lake Superior in the summer.
