Meet Our Staff: The Fyocks
Tim and Laurie are a staff couple who have been here at Ethnos360 Bible Institute for many years now. They’re both very kind and caring people. Tim is Dean of Students and Laurie is the Child Safety Coordinator. Their daughter, Biss, is also on staff as a ladies’ dean.

Where are you from originally?
Tim: Originally from Pennsylvania, but MK from Venezuela.
Laurie: Originally from Maryland, but MK from Senegal, West Africa.
When did you join the Ethnos360 Bible Institute team?
We came to EBI in January of 2011.
What’s your role at Ethnos360 Bible Institute?
Tim: I am Dean of Students.
Laurie: I am his helper in whatever is needed and also the Child Safety Coordinator.
What is your favorite thing about serving at Ethnos360 Bible Institute?
Tim: I love having opportunities to get to know people, both staff and students.
Laurie: Ditto!
What is something the student body might not know about you?
Tim: As a teen in Venezuela, I grabbed the tail of a live, twenty-foot anaconda.
Laurie: I took ballet for many years.
At what point in your life were you convinced to become involved with missions?
Tim: I was in high school when I saw the need for the Gospel to be shared with all people.
Laurie: I was a junior in high school when I was convinced that I could do nothing better than be part of the team to bring the Gospel to the least-reached people groups.
Where’s your favorite place to eat or thing to do here around Waukesha?
Tim: I love to play disc golf. It is a nice relaxing pastime.
Laurie: As a family, we love Chili’s (love their chips and salsa).
What pastimes do you enjoy?
Tim: I really like disc golf and many sports (soccer and hockey are favorites).
Laurie: I love to read and study, and I love music and walks and writing cards to my grandson in Mexico.
Do you have a “hero of the faith” that you admire, and if so, what about them is inspiring?
Tim: One of my dorm fathers in Venezuela who had great influence in my life.
Laurie: I really appreciate Darlene Diebler Rose and her testimony in captivity during World War II. It challenges me.
Who is your favorite author or musician?
Tim: I really like Crawford Loritts and Paul David Tripp as authors, and I like Don Fransico as a musician.
Laurie: I really like Paul David Tripp, Jill Briscoe, Darlene Diebler Rose, and many more. I also love music… Shane and Shane and For King and Country are a couple.
Where is your favorite place to spend time?
Tim: I like to be outdoors!
Laurie: Wherever family or friends are, I love it!
