What You Need to Know

What is Campus Visit Weekend?

Ethnos360 Bible Institute’s campus visit weekend runs from registration at 4:00 Thursday afternoon to Friday 4:30. You will experience college life by staying overnight in the dorms, sitting in classes and a fun student social event. 

Does it cost anything?

There is absolutely no cost! You handle transportation and we will handle everything else. 

Who can attend?

Anyone 16 years or older may register and stay the night in the dorm on Thursday night. The event is over by Friday dinner, but if you would like to stay overnight on Friday night you need to be at least 18 years old.  

Can I bring my parents, leader or family?

Yes, you may bring your parents, leader or family.  

It is important that if the parent/leader/family coming with you wants to eat in the dining hall, that each person completes their own registration. On the registration it will ask which meals they plan to eat in the dining hall.

Where is the campus visit event?

Campus Visit Weekend happens at Ethnos360 Bible Institute, Waukesha, Wisconsin.

When should I arrive?

Registration begins at 4:00 on Thursday. Please don’t arrive earlier as your host is not available until 4:00 If you need to arrive earlier, there is a coffee shop on campus where you can wait until the event begins at 4:00. 

What should I bring?

You should bring a change of clothes, toiletries, sleeping bag/bedding, a pillow, and a notebook and Bible.  

Who should fill out a registration?

Each person staying for the event needs to fill in their own registration.  

When does registration close? 

Registration closes one week before the event. Or when the maximum number is reached. 

What if the registration is closed?

  • Chat with someone in a Specific Department 

Is there a place for my parent/leader/family to stay?

There are no places to stay on campus, but there are many hotels nearby like: 

  • Home2 Suites by Hilton Milwaukee/Brookfield 
  • Hampton Inn Milwaukee/Brookfield 
  • Tru by Hilton Milwaukee/Brookfield 
  • Milwaukee Marriott West 

What is the schedule like?

Before You Arrive

  • On your registration, input your best phone number and e-mail address to reach you. 
  • A couple days before you arrive, your student host will reach out to you regarding your arrival time. 
  • Please check your Spam folder. 
  • Please answer their text to begin communication with your host and for them to welcome you well. 

Thursday Schedule

4:00-4:30 Arrival  

  • You can park in the lot in front of the school.
  • When you arrive, your student host will meet you and take you to your room.  
  • If you arrive early, you may wait in the Campus Coffee Shop until 4:00 when your host will be available. 
  • Your parents/leader/family are welcome to stay for any part of the campus visit. (Please let them know they are invited to any or all of it.) 
  • Your parents/leader/family are welcome to stay for any meals in the dining hall, but each person needs to complete their own registration to select which meals they would like to attend. 

5:00 Campus Tour – Your host will bring you to the lobby for a campus tour. 

5:45 Dinner – in the dining hall with your host and the students.  

7:00 Student event – You are welcome to enjoy a fun event with the students. 

Friday Schedule

7:15-7:45 Breakfast –   in the dining hall with your host and the students. 

8:00-8:50 Orientation – in the student lounge. 

9:00-9:50 Class – you get to pick a class to sit in. 

10:00-10:30 Chapel - worship with the students. 

10:40-11:30 Class – you get to pick a class to sit in 

11:30-12:00 Free time – Resthaven Cafe and merch store are open until noon. 

12:00-1:00 Lunch –   in the dining hall with your host and the students. 

1:00-1:45 Student Q & A – You will get to hear from current students who would love to answer any of your questions. 

1:00-1:45 Parent Q & A – Your parents/leader will get to hear from staff who would love to answer any of their questions. (Please let them know they are invited to this.) 

2:00-3:30 Downtown Tour - Students will be joining the whole group to walk or drive downtown for coffee on us! 

4:00-4:30 Wrap Up- The president will be speaking and answering any questions.  

After the wrap up, the event is officially over. 

 

After the event is over, you are welcome to stay for: 

Friday Night

  • Dinner in the dining hall at 5:15 – Select on registration which meals after the event you would like to eat in the dining hall. 
  • 7:00 Global Gatherings – A missions/worship community event on campus. 
  • If you are at least 18 – you may stay another night in your dorm room. Please select on the registration. 

Saturday Morning

  • 10:00 Saturday Brunch – Select on the registration 
  • 11:00 – Checkout – Please return your key cards to the front desk.
