NTBI holds a very special place in my heart, but how could it not? I attended three separate times beginning in 2004 and finally graduating in 2008. While my classmates and I have a good laugh at this, I look back at my time at NTBI Jackson and know for certain that my life and walk with the Lord have been forever changed.

When I first showed up to the Jackson Campus in the spring of 2004 to take a tour, I immediately fell in love with the atmosphere and knew that was where God wanted me to be. After graduating high school and doing a 3 month internship with NTM missionaries in of Brazil, I set off for NTBI to learn more about God’s Word and His goal for the nations.

I began training and quickly realized I didn’t know squat about the Bible, Christ, or the Christian life. As time went on, the investment that staff members and deans made in my life motivated me to learn more about my Savior and His “master plan for humanity” every day.

I’d never trade my time at NTBI. It helped lead me to where I am today in my walk and continued growth in ministry. Today, I’m not a full time missionary overseas. I am a Christian witnessing to my Jerusalem. Maybe one day that will change, but for now I’m an Operations Manager for an animal nutrition company. My training at NTBI has equipped me to witness to my employees, customers, and peers in the industry. It’s also allowed me to help lead a weekly Bible study at my house, teach a Sunday school class on the Life of Christ to new believers, be in leadership for my church’s mission board, and participate in the ministry of Gideons International. God is definitely working in my life.

It’s amazing to look back and see where He’s brought me, how He used NTBI to bring me to where I am today, and to know that He’ll continue to use me in the future. I&rsquorsquo;m so excited to see Him unfold His plan for me!
