Course Description

This course is a systematic study of the doctrines of the Ecclesiology (the church), Angelology (angels), and Eschatology (end times). The course will include a workable definition of the church, unity and diversity within the church, the ministries of the church, and the organizational models for the church. The course will cover the nature, activities, and distinctives between the heavenly and fallen angels. Finally, the course will study the End Times from a pre-tribulation, pre-millennial perspective on the fulfillment of prophecy.

Course Professor

James served as a missionary Bible teacher for 25 years in Bolivia before joining the EBI teaching staff in Waukesha.  He is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, Wheaton Graduate School and Carey Theological College where he holds a Doctor of Ministry degree in Theological Education as Discipleship Ministry.  James and his wife Kathy have two adult children and one granddaughter.

Upon completion of this course, the student will…

  • Know the location of the key passages in the Bible related to each doctrine.
  • Understand the nature, significance and mission of the church.
  • Understand the nature and activities of angels.
  • Be prepared for the Lord’s return.
