Course Instructor: Steve Sanford have served with Ethnos360 since 1993, and ministered with the isolated Joti people for 12 years in Venezuela. Along with their missionary co-workers, their tasks included Bible teaching, curriculum development, and medical and literacy work. Steve now serves on the Executive Leadership Team of Ethnos360, and resides in Pennsylvania where he also teaches at Ethnos360’s short term exposure trip, Wayumi.

Course Description and Goals: The purpose of this course is to give the student a snapshot of key biblical themes (e.g. character of God, man’s sinfulness and inability to save himself, God’s provision for man’s sin and how that provision is received, etc.) as those themes are manifested throughout history.  Upon completion of this course the student will have a basic understanding of the unity of the Bible, some of the major themes of Scripture, and how those themes are developed in the progression of biblical revelation. This will give the student a solid foundation for further biblical studies.

Textbook: The textbook for this course is not part of the EBI Logos package and students will need to acquire this book before the course begins. The book is called “By This Name,” by John Cross. It can be purchased on Amazon, or directly from the publisher.
