Study the origin and development of God’s Word.

Course Instructor: Jason Weaver, taught at Ethnos360 Bible Institute for 8 years and is currently teaching at Ethnos360’s missionary training center as an exegetical consultant specializing in Greek Exegesis. He earned his Master of Arts in the New Testament from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He currently lives in Missouri with his wife and three children.

Course Instructor: Your teacher, Scot Keen, has served at Ethnos360 Bible Institute since 2003. Scot is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary where he earned his Master of Arts in Biblical Studies and Doctor of Ministry. He and his wife April have been married for seventeen years and have three children.

Course Description and Goals: This course is a study of the origin and development of God’s Word including inspiration, revelation, canonicity, authority, and translations.
Upon completion of this course, 1. The student will be able to define and explain the core concepts of Bibliology (i.e., Revelation, Inspiration, Canonicity, Transmission and Translation). 2. The student will be able to trace the historical development of the Bible from inspiration to the present English versions of the Bible that we have today. 3. The student will articulate the major contemporary challenges presented against the reliability of Scripture and responses to those challenges.
