Course Description
This course is a study of the origin and development of God’s Word including inspiration, revelation, canonicity, authority, and translations. Upon completion of this course:
- The student will be able to define and explain the core concepts of Bibliology (i.e., revelation, inspiration, canonicity, transmission and translation).
- The student will be able to trace the historical development of the Bible from inspiration to the present English versions of the Bible that we have today.
- The student will articulate the major contemporary challenges presented against the reliability of Scripture and responses to those challenges.
