Course Description and Goals

This course traces the major plot-line of the Bible revealing the cohesiveness of the biblical narrative and the ways in which the major biblical events relate to tell one overarching story. Attention is drawn to the ways in which an understanding of the meta-narrative impacts one’s ability to interpret the details of Scripture and one’s desire to find their place within the plan of God as it is worked out in history.

Upon completion of this course, the student will…

  • Exhibit an increased comprehension of the Bible by their ability to articulate the ways in which the major events of Scripture correlate to tell one overarching story.
