Course Instructor
Jason Weaver has served with Ethnos360 since 2003. His positions include teaching at Ethnos360 Bible Institute and Ethnos360 Training, as well as consulting for Bible translators on the language and meaning of New Testament passages. Jason has a Master of Arts in the New Testament from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
Course Description and Goals
Upon completion of this course,
- The student will identify the circumstances surrounding Paul’s writing of 1 & 2 Corinthians (audience, issues, etc.).
- The student will be able to trace the general progression of thought through both epistles.
- The student will demonstrate how Paul addresses several different issues in 1 Corinthians in a similar fashion: by taking them back to the basics of the gospel.
- The student will articulate the value and of suffering in the life of a child of God based on 2 Corinthians.
