This course is a verse by verse exposition of 1st and 2nd Thessalonians calling attention to the major themes of perseverance and eschatology, especially noting their correlation. Specific issues such as the Rapture, Day of the Lord, and Second Advent are treated as they naturally surface in the text.
Upon completion of this course, the student will…
- Be challenged to persevere in the faith by reflecting upon and articulating the correlation between future hope and perseverance.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the principles employed by Paul in effort to correct and encourage believers.
Course Professor: Scot Keen
Scot has served at Ethnos360 Bible Institute since 2003. Scot is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary where he earned his Master of Arts in Biblical Studies and Doctor of Ministry. He and his wife April have been married for seventeen years and have three children.
